Unveiling the power of empathy in the online facilitation
The title of this project is “Unveiling the power of empathy in online facilitation”, aiming to reflect and delve into workshop facilitation, the challenges and lessons learned during the pandemic and explore in practical ways the skills that need to be developed / strengthened to face current conditions and how empathy can be transferred through online interactions. The challenge this project addresses is to identify the characteristics and scope of online empathy with two purposes, the first one is to develop empathy between facilitators and participants to enhance the facilitator-participant relationship to generate the necessary support mechanisms for plural online scenarios. The second purpose is to build and strengthen collaborative partnership between the partners putting empathy at the centre of the partnership, and relationships.

Sinco’s service prototyping is a valuable way to experiment in an environment that allows for the exploration of new service improvement options. This research project seeks to identify the characteristics of Sinco that can be transferable to Chilean culture. Through the research, it is intended to deepen the Sinco methodology and the service design practice in Chile to specify the opportunity to insert this methodology with the relevant variations to the Chilean context.
